This safari focuses on two of Tanzania’s most iconic wildlife destinations—Ngorongoro Crater and Serengeti National Park. The itinerary includes extensive game drives, giving you the opportunity to witness incredible wildlife, including the Big Five, while staying in luxury lodges and tented camps.

Pick up from your hotel in Arusha and drive to the Ngorongoro Crater. Descend into the crater for a game drive to spot lions, elephants, buffaloes, and flamingos. The crater is home to a variety of species, including the endangered black rhino.
Overnight: Ngorongoro Serena Lodge
After breakfast, depart for Serengeti National Park. Enjoy a scenic drive to the Seronera Area, renowned for its rich predator population. Game drives en route, followed by a sunset drive in the park.
Overnight: Serengeti Sopa Lodge or Ikoma Luxury Tented Camp
Spend two full days exploring Serengeti with early morning and evening game drives. Depending on the season, you will experience the Great Wildebeest Migration or encounter abundant wildlife such as lions, cheetahs, zebras, and giraffes.

After breakfast, depart for Ngorongoro Crater. Enjoy an afternoon game drive in the crater, including a visit to the Ol’dovai Gorge for a glimpse of the archaeological history of human evolution.
Overnight: Ngorongoro Serena Lodge
Early breakfast, followed by a morning game drive in the crater. Ascend to the crater rim and return to Arusha by midday.
